Finding your way: researching your family history

Are you starting your family history research? Or are you an experienced researcher who would like so extra help? As part of Family History Month 2020 you are invited to the National Library for an introduction to family history resources from staff, supported by members of the Wellington branches of the NZ Society of Genealogists.

Join a tour of the Library’s Family History collection

There will be tours of the Library’s Family History collection with experienced librarians at:

  • 11:00am
  • 11:45am
  • 12:15pm

Meet members of NZ Society of Genealogists

As well, members of the Wellington branches of the NZ Society of Genealogists will be here to help with your research, and representatives of the Irish, Scottish and English Special Interest Groups who will be able to give particular guidance in researching these areas.
