Genealogy Research Day, Palmerston North ~ 17th April

Who knew I’d be getting so excited about a trip to Palmerston North??

Covid levels allowing, the Palmerston North branch of the NZ Society of Genealogists will be holding a Genealogy Research Day on Saturday, 17th April at Kilwinning Lodge, Church Street, Palmerston North from 9.30am to 4pm. Entry is $5.

There’ll be local experts on hand to help you with your family history research, including representatives from the Lower North Island English, Irish and Scottish Interest groups.

Speakers:  Gareth Winter, Wairarapa Archive Historian, and Deborah Shuker, Australian Research.

I’m looking forward to hearing the talks, helping out on the Irish and Scottish Interest Groups stands, and catching up with a few friends (and a cousin).
